Cecily O’Neill ist Keynote-Rednerin bei den Dramapädagogik-Tagen 2022

Wir freuen uns sehr, Cecily O’Neill (UK) als Keynote für die diesjährige Tagung gewonnen zu haben, ebenso wie Karl Eigenbauer (A) als zweiten Keynote-Redner. Hier ein kurzes Profil unserer Keynote-Referentin (weitere Informationen zur zweiten Keynote und zum Programm generell folgen ab Mitte /Ende März).

Cecily O’Neill ist seit vielen Jahren im Bereich Drama in Education tätig, war verantwortlich für Lehrerbildung im Bereich Drama in London und hat das Programm Drama Education an der Ohio State University aufgebaut. Sie ist Gastprofessorin an der New York University und der University of Winchester.

Bei den DiE Days wird sie einen Vortrag und einen Workshop (auf Englisch) halten.

Keynote: Telling Tales

Myths and stories are fundamental to the growth of human civilisation. They are the way we make sense of our experience in the world, stimulating memory, judgement and interpretation. Can stories, these powerful acts of communication, become an essential element in the language classroom?

Workshop

In her practical workshop, Cecily will explore ways in which the use of stories can engage students’ imaginations and activate their social and linguistic capacities.
