Call for Papers: Drama in Education Days 2020

The sixth annual Drama in Education Days will take place in Konstanz, Germany from July
16th-18th 2020. The conference focuses on best practice and research in the field of
Drama and Theatre in Education specifically in second and foreign language teaching.
We welcome contributions from teachers, scholars, and performers working with drama
and theatre in language education at all levels from primary to tertiary, including teacher
training. Submissions should reflect on best practice or on the dissemination of research
findings in the form of:

a) 20-minute paper presentations (+ 10 minutes discussion)
b) 60/90-minute workshops (please indicate desired length – 90 minute slots are limited)
c) a presentation and discussion of a performance piece is also possible
d) 1x pre-conference workshop (late afternoon of 16 th July): 120 minute workshop on a
topic of interest to teachers of different languages and age groups (in English or bilingual
German/English)

Abstracts may be submitted in German or English (max. 300 words). Please include a brief
biography (max. 50 words). Submission deadline is March 1st, 2020.
